LeGarrette Blount threw another punch on the football field but this time it won’t lead to any disciplinary actions like the one he threw last season during his NCAA days as a Duck. Here’s the raw bleep-filled WKRN video of the punch that occurred at the Titans training camp:
The punch was directed at defensive end Eric Bakhtiari one play after Blount’s helmet was ripped off. As you can see in this video, Blount’s helmet came off on this play as well and after the play ended with pushing and shoving Blount threw a right into Bakhtiari’s facemask.
Coach Fisher almost enjoyed the moment saying:
“He apologized, and I said he didn’t have to apologize. It’s football. It’s training camp.”
Blount, a rookie running back, was signed by the Tennessee Titans after sitting through the entire NFL Draft without hearing his name called.
He was suspended for eight games while playing for the University of Oregon last season after laying out Boise State defensive end Byron Hout.
Appears that Blount may not be a fan of defensive tackles.
