SAN FRANCISCO – Da Bears may have felt they were dumping another dreadful arm by moving Kyle Orton to Denver but halfway through the season Cutler leads the NFL with 17 picks while Orton has thrown just 5. Under Orton, the Broncos sit at the top of the AFC West with a 6-2 record while Da Bears are struggling at 4-5.

Lakers Great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Diagnosed with Leukemia

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Lakers great, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the man formally known as Lew Alcindor, was diagnosed last December with chronic myeloid leukemia. Similar to how Los Angeles Laker star Magic Johnson brought awareness to HIV after contacting the disease in the mid-90’s, Kareem wants to do the same with his disease.
