DALLAS – Dallas Police Department say Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was issued a citation for a Class C Misdemeanor that occurred during this fight at the Dallas strip club, Club Onyx located at 10557 Wire Way on Saturday night. Here’s the surveillance video of Young in that brawl:

One person received a minor injury and now Young faces a minor penalty that is punishable with a maximum fine of $500, basically assumed to be the amount he might spend on a normal night out.

Police used that video footage above to make their case and as seen in the tape, after words were exchanged, the altercation broke out. Young bolted the scene prior to the cops responding.

Young had just recently returned to the field as a starter for the Titans and is getting his NFL career back on track after a lengthy benching from Titans Coach Jeff Fisher.

A Texas native, Young led the University of Texas, to a national championship in 2006.

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Thrashers kicked off their NHL season with a 6-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning Saturday night at Philips Arena in front of 18,545 fans.

Starting the scoring for the Thrashers was Lightning defenseman Paul Ranger who jumped on a rebound from an Illya Kovalchuk shot and fired it behind stunned teammate goaltender Mike Smith, turning on the red light, erupting the crowd and sparking a collection of quotes from his bench in language so colorful it cannot be put in print.

Never hurts to get spotted a goal in the low-scoring NHL and the Thrashers took advantage of it, scoring the game’s next three goals to take a 4-0 lead; a lead they never salvaged.

Thrashers forward Rich Peverley, one of last year’s bright spots, started the season where he left off netting two goals and an assist. Not to be outdone, Thrashers Captain Illya Kovalchuk matched the effort netting three points of his own (2g, 1a).

All eyes were on 18-year-old rookie Evander Kane, No. 4 overall pick by Atlanta in this year’s NHL Draft. Kane made his debut compiling 11:09 of ice time and picking up his first NHL point when he assisted on Peverley’s first goal at 12:42 of the second period.

The ice did tilt with a shift in momentum late in the second period when Lightning speedster Martin St. Louis scored two goals in the final six minutes making it 4-2 at second intermission.

Rejuvenated by St. Louis’ efforts, the Lightning came out flying in the third scoring early at 2:11 to narrow the gap to 4-3 but the Thrashers refused to send their fans home without a win and scored the final two goals for the win.

The game also featured a few fights. Thrashers enforcer Eric Boulton dropped Lightning player Todd Fedoruk with a solid right in one match and Chris Thornburn went toe-to-toe with Zenon Konopka for nearly a minute in another brawl. (see video here)

Winning goaltender, rookie 22-year-old Ondrej Pavelec had great looking stats on paper; stopping 36 of the 39 shots he faced and being named third star of the game but looked shaky during much of the contest.

Pavelec looked behind his back for a red light on several occasions and was out of position, his back completely turned to the shooters on a few others. Luckily for the Thrashers, those shots didn’t find a way behind their goalie but in the NHL, sometimes you need a little luck.

Like Captain Kovy said post-game referring to the goal he got credited for that Ranger fired in his own net, “It takes a little bit of luck sometimes. I’ll take it.”

And so will the 18,545 faithful who visited Blueland Saturday night.

ATLANTA – Erin Andrews still coming down from the ordeal of being videoed naked in a hotel room several days ago called 911 to report two paparazzi creeping around her home. Andrews, an ESPN sports reporter voted the sexiest female to work the mic, is no stranger to attention but lately seems to be getting the kind of attention she prefers not to get.

During the call which can be heard in it’s entirety on TMZ.com, Andrews gets irate stating “I’m being treated like f**king Brittney Spears!” and later refers to the intruders as “assholes.”

Here’s the transcript of the call:

Dispatcher: DeKalb 911. What’s the address of your emergency?

Andrews: Um, I was in the news recently about being in a hotel naked, and I have paparazzi outside my window, and I was told by law enforcement that if I did to call 911.

Dispatcher: Do you want to meet with an officer? (pause)Do you want to meet with an officer, ma’am, when they come out?

Andrews: Yeah, these guys are sitting in a car outside my house right now. I would like to tell the officer to have them leave because the cops have told me to call 911 if they’re outside my house.

Dispatcher: And what’s your name?

Andrews: My name is Erin. My last name is Andrews. I’m all over the news right now.

Dispatcher: I’m not familiar.

Andrews: I’m the girl that was videotaped without her knowing, without her clothes on in the hotel.

Dispatcher: Really?

Andrews: And I’ve got two assholes sitting outside my house.

Dispatcher: I’m so sorry.

Andrews: I am, too. Thank you.

Dispatcher: We’ll send someone out. What kind of vehicle are they in?

Andrews: They’re in a RAV, a white RAV4. I’m in a gated community, and I don’t know how they got in. Mom, can you see their license plates? It’s a handicap license plate they have. What’s the license plate number?

Dispatcher: What’s the tag number?

Andrews: We’re trying to see. Do you see it, Mom? OK, I’m gonna try and go to another room and see if I can read it. I can’t believe these jerks are knocking on my door. F**king assholes. Mom, you’re totally being obvious.

Dispatcher: Are they black, white or Hispanic?

Andrews: What?

Dispatcher: Are they black, white or Hispanic?

Andrews: They’re both white males. I think it’s – they know I’m here, ’cause I have a car out front. So they know I’m inside. I have private security that I’m working with, but they’re not with me currently, and they said call 911. OK, here’s the license plate. It’s a handicap license plate for Georgia. (pause) They’re looking at me through my window.

Dispatcher: Are you OK?

Andrews: Yeah, I’m just – I did nothing wrong, and I’m being treated like f**king Britney Spears, and it sucks. I’m sorry.

Dispatcher: OK, the first available unit will see you as soon as possible.

Andrews: Thanks. Do you know how far they’re out?

Dispatcher: No. They should be in – they’ll be here as soon as possible.

Andrews: OK.

Dispatcher: OK, thank you.

Andrews: Thanks.
