Tiger Woods Twitter account started up and shortly after the estranged athlete Tweeted, “What’s up everyone. Finally decided to try out twitter!” the world’s most famous golfer had well over 200,000 followers.

Doesn’t seem fair for others in the sports Twitter land, like our fearless editor and some of our writers, who struggle to find a few followers each day and end up with a few if they’re lucky with half of those being spammers trying to sell you something. Kidding aside, it’s great to see Tiger making his way back into society as he should.

One has to assume the main embarrassment is gone that surrounded his difficulty in keeping the snake in his pants travelling on the PGA Tour over the past several years. Yeah that run included a laundry list of women some who would be considered on the slutty side (Google porn actresses) but hey the guy led a reserved life knowing little besides golf then suddenly found women of all kinds throwing himself at his feet—he caved like a lot of guys have.

So, good luck hitting a million followers, Tiger. Ochocinco had to offer $10,000 to get a boast in followship and finally hit the milestone and it took Shaq a bit of time to hit that million mark as well but I have a feeling your account may top all the athletes before it’s all over.
