New England Patriots practice squad player J.J. Worton was arrested for assaulting two women and one guy over the weekend.
According to reports, the rookie groped the two women before knocking out the man. Cops charged the rookie with two counts of indecent assault and battery and one count of assault and battery.
The assault is said to have occurred at a bar a few miles away from Gillette Stadium, just hours before the Patriots’ 20–18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
After police pulled over the car Worton was in, Worton told them he “accidentally” touched the women then punched the man in self defense.
The former UCF Knight wide receiver was signed to New England’s practice squad on Jan. 11, after being on the Rams’ practice squad earlier this season.
This isn’t the first time Worton made headlines with a bust. Back in 2012 while playing for the UCF Knights in Orlando, he was arrested after he punched a cop. The mugshot in this article is from that incident in Orlando.

Mike Williams the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ rookie wide receiver, was arrested early this morning in Hillsborough
County for suspected DUI.
According to police, Williams was weaving through lanes while driving 57 mph in a 45 mph zone. Although Williams took a breathalyzer test that revealed his level to be under the legal .08 limit, he was busted and later provided a urine test. The test readings listed on this actual police report show the player’s blood alcohol content at .065 and .061 percent so why the handcuffs?
Williams is said to have “failed a field sobriety test, had glassy eyes, and smelled of alcohol.” The police report also shows that a urine test was collected which a procedure many times conducted when police suspect a substance other than alcohol has been used by a driver.
Bond was set at $500 and posted by Williams who was then released.
One of this year’s best NFL rookies, Williams was picked in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. In his first nine NFL games, he has caught 40 passes for a total of 627 yards and five TDs.
Williams has been pretty much trouble free throughout his college and professional career up to this point. He was suspended when he was a student at Syracuse University in 2008 for allegedly cheating in class but how many athletes have “tutors” and do that.

The Carolina Panthers WR Dwayne Jarrett became the newest member of our Jocks Behind Bars when he was
for possible DWI.
According to the police in the Charlotte area where the arrest occurred, Jarrett was stopped while cruising down Interstate 77 around 2 AM on Tuesday when the car he was driving had no tag on it.
The police report suggested that when the cop pulled him and approached the car, that Jarrett’s eyes were bloodshot, the player had slurred speech and appeared disoriented.
After doing a lousy job at the “are you shitfaced tonight” tests, Jarrett was taken to the slammer where he refused to any further testing. The cops responded by obtaining a search warrant that allowed him to take his blood for testing.
During the ordeal he was booked and cheesed for the mugshot shown here.
Back in 2008, Jarrett went through a similar arrest and ended up pleading guilty to that charge after blowing or testing with a .12 which is over the .08 legal limit.
That time, he is said to have run a red light, this time he is said to not have had tags on his vehicle. Dude, get proper tags and drive like it’s Driver’s Ed class when you’re coming home from partying in the middle of the night!
BTW, going into Week 5 in the NFL, Jarrett had just two catches for 40 yards and the team responded by cutting him shortly after the arrest.
Here’s a copy of the police report.
