Ex-NASCAR driver, 56-year-old Jimmy Neal was arrested again, this allegedly his third time behind bars in a month.
And we use that title ex-NASCAR very loosely since Neal was never in a national NASCAR race but did run some laps in a regional series in the 1980s.
Earlier this year he tried outrunning the cops in a high-speed race that was said to hit speeds of up to 140 MPH but when his engine blew, he was busted and booked for the incident.
After pleading guilty to a misdemeanor felony evasion while driving recklessly, he was sentenced to a month behind bars followed by probation.
No problem, right?
Do the short time for the driving conviction, abide by probation and get on with your life. Not if you’re Neal.
Neal was later accused of rape and arrested again then just hours after bailing out on that charge he went for the trifecta and got popped again, this time for drug possession.
Neal may have gotten away with getting stoned to forget his troubles but according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, his bail bondsman allegedly caught him in a motel with methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia.
The bail bondsman called the cops and the rest is history.
