With a 3-2 lead, the Thrashers came out flying in the third stanza, scoring two goals and jumping to a 5-2 lead. Trailing by three, the Rangers fought back with back-to-back goals to get within one at 5-4 before Andrew Ladd sealed the win with an empty-netter.
