WHISTLER, B.C. – Please make it stop! Lindsey Vonn’s pain in her shin is starting to become a pain in everyone else’s ass. Statements and comments about the Olympic skier’s injury are becoming as obnoxious as when a 4-year-old with a tiny knick on his pinky keeps sticking their finger in your face whining, “I got a boo-boo.”

VANCOUVER, B.C. – During the Winter Olympics in Vancouver yesterday, U.S. snowboarding champion Shaun White again showed the world he is a pioneer in his sport. After one run in the halfpipe finals, White had already locked in the gold medal so he decided to entertain the crowd with a final run that included a move called the Double McTwist 1260.

VANCOUVER, B.C. – Another Winter Olympics and Lindsey Jacobellis is still struggling to win a gold medal.
Years ago at the Winter Games in Turin, Italy, Jacobellis lost a sure gold medal when she started hot-dogging it and pulled an unnecessary move grabbing her board in a “method grab” and wiping out before coming home with the silver medal. This year even had a worse result.

WHISTLER, B.C. – America has a tendency to latch onto sexy athletes and this Winter Olympic Games offers both genders an opportunity to follow their favorite competitors. After her recent Sports Illustrated bikini photo shoot, female skier Lindsey Vonn joined those ranks along with American speedskater Apolo Ohno.

Vancouver, B.C. – The Opening Ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics will take place tonight in Vancouver and like many past Olympics the question remains on who will light the torch. Many famous former athletes have a history of lighting the flame including Muhammad Ali who lit it during the opening ceremonies for the summer Olympics in Atlanta in 1996.
