LOS ANGELES – USC Trojans’ quarterback Mark Sanchez has made the decision to leave Southern California and enter the NFL Draft. Normally people close to these athletes line up and pat them on the back, wish them well in their challenging journey, the ticker-tape parade ensues and the player rides off into the sunset.

How about some serious love for those pesky Oregon State Beavers and their 5 ft. 6 in. freshman hoss-of- a-halfback Jacquizz Rodgers. Rodgers was a workhorse and ran the ball 37 times for 186 yards and two TD’s.
Props to the offensive line of the Beavers too . . . they looked awesome pushing around and out-manning Petey Carroll’s so-called “best defense he has ever had at USC”.

Reminiscent of the gladiator days, 93,607 belligerent fans packed the stadium to watch their No. 1-ranked Trojans slaughter their “Little Ten” opponent 35-3.
Jim Tressell’s Buckeyes, who were hoping to redeem themselves after having their asses handed to them in two recent national title games, were bitch-slapped, spanked and hung out to dry.
