UVA lacrosse player charged with murder, booked

A 22-year-old student at the University of Virginia is behind bars and booked for first-degree murder after admitting getting into a physical confrontation with a female student who was later found dead. George Huguely, a UVA lacrosse player, is accused of killing 22-year-old Yeardley Love, a senior from Cockeysville, Maryland.

CHICAGO, Ill. – NHL player Chris Chelios was sentenced on Wednesday to six months of conditional discharge and fined $500 fine, which is barely equivalent to a few shifts of ice time, after prosecutors dropped the original DUI charge.
