AP Top 25 – ‘Bama to No.8, ‘Cocks to No. 10?

College football rankings are in for the AP Top 25 and this is why so many people think these polls are about as good as a used piece of toilet paper.

On Saturday, the No. 19 South Carolina Gamecocks beat the dog shit outta the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide. After the ‘Cocks victory where would you vote them to be in the newest rankings?

Well, the votes are in and Alabama (5-1) dropped to No. 8, two ahead of the team that beat them last week; our beloved ‘Cocks (4-1) sit at No. 10. BTW the USA Today has ‘Bama sitting at No. 8 and South Carolina all the way down at No. 12.

‘Nuf said on that ‘cause we could write a whole book on this topic and if I do it, you may need to hide the women and children when it gets released. We learn something about NCAAF every week.

Back to the results, the No. 1 spot now belongs to “The” Ohio State Buckeyes who stayed unbeaten at 6-0 and accumulated 34 first-place votes while West Virginia snuck into the No. 25 spot.

Oh, almost forgot to mention, Boise State sits at No. 3 and got 8 first place votes for having a blue field and the Florida Gators and Oregon State somehow remained in with two losses each.
