NEW YORK, N.Y. – The NFL Draft moved to prime time and now that the dust has settled, many are saying the Detroit Lions were the biggest winners.
The Lions took defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh with their No. 2 overall pick then traded up with the Minnesota Vikings and chose running back Jahvid Best at No. 30.
The Lions are entering the second season following their 0-16 season and snagged two players, one on each side of the ball, who should step right into the starting line-up and make an impact.
The biggest surprise of the first round was Florida quarterback Tim Tebow going to Denver with pick No. 25.
