Since this article was placed, the Nashville police have confirmed McNair’s death was indeed part of a murder-suicide commited by Sahel Kazemi with a pistol she had purchased just two days before the killings. 

NASHVILLE – Former Tennessee Titans/Baltimore Ravens quarterback Steve McNair was found dead alongside Sahel Kazemi, a 20-year-old woman he allegedly had been dating.

Although, police have yet to confirm the results of their investigation, they are currently not looking for any suspects and many close to the investigation expect them to announce the deaths are a murder-suicide.

McNair, who was known for his charity work in and around Nashville was found with several gunshot wounds while the woman died from a single shot to the head. The weapon believed to have been used in the incident was found near the woman’s body.
