Bonds pleads not guilty in steroid case

As expected, MLB’s home run king Barry Bonds pleaded not guilty to perjury charges related to his testimony in the much-publicized steroid investigation. Some feel all the charges against Bonds should have been dropped and Bonds is being singled out but the bottom line is, if Bonds lied under oath, after hitting 762 over the fence he may be spending two years behind one; a taller one decorated in barbed wire.

Beckham admits he wants to stay in Europe

LOS ANGELES – Barely 18 months ago on a hot July day in 2007, he was introduced to more than 600 media members and 2,500 screaming fans in Carson, California as the guy who would help revive the health of the U.S. soccer league and make everyone some serious money. It didn’t take long for David Beckham to get lawyers working on releasing him from the five year agreement he made with the MLS and its team, the LA Galaxy.

SUDAN- Let’s make a list of challenges a 7 ft. 7 in. lanky man the size of a twig should avoid:

1. Climb in a boxing ring and go toe-to-toe with a 375 pound ex-NFL lineman named “Refrigerator”.
2. Lace up a pair of skates and take a shot at professional ice hockey.
3. Become a licensed horse jockey.

Manute Bol, a Dinka Tribesman and former center in the NBA did all that.
