With the NHL season moving along at a steady pace, our Sports Chick thought it would be the perfect time to ask the question, “Will a Female Ever Break the Gender Barrier in the NHL?”
Manon Rheaume was a hot twenty-year-old goaltender best known for becoming the first woman to appear in one NHL game in Tampa during a preseason. This hot babe gained a bunch of attention for the feat and was offered a photo shoot in a men’s magazine.
Hollywood may implode outdated arenas

One career that seems to be thriving in this upside down economy is “wrecking ball driver”. Several professional sports arenas and stadiums are scheduled for, or currently being demolished to make room for state-of-the-art facilities.
The Dallas Cowboys will be vacating Texas Stadium after this season after entertaining fans there since 1971. The tab for Tony and Jessica’s new structure is expected to top $1 billion.

John Daly was so intoxicated he had passed out on the sidewalk outside the restaurant. So the cops took him to the drunk tank.
Daly, who has given up trying to get sober, has hit a new low and my concerns for him are well founded.
Bitch-Slap-of-the-Week – Urban Meyer & His Gators

True bitch-slap but what made it the most humiliating bitch-slap in Sports Climax history, were the timeouts called by Florida Coach, Urban Myer with the score totally out of hand and only seconds left on the game clock.
That move by Myer was probably in retaliation to last year’s Bulldog celebration after the Dawgs’ first score in that game that led to both teams clearing the benches and intensifying this rivalry.
